Our Webpage File

Electronic Journal

Creating the webpage

We downloaded the starter file, opened it in Atom, and changed the title in the head section to Why We should All Love SPT15 in between <h> and </h>. We set up the framework for our page, creating paragraphs with
and
and lists with
and
.

Adding information

We researched the gene using the four databases and gathered the required information. We created a section titled More You Should Know! where we will include additional information. We began typing the additional information into the list. To add line breaks, we used
at the end of each line. We added links using Title of Link .

Pictures

We found some pictures on Google Images with the specification of "labeled for reuse" in the advanced settings to avoid user right abuse. We inserted the images, using .

Uploading File to Wiki

We uploaded the zip file to the wiki. To insert it into my journal entry, I typed [[Media:file_name|the label I wanted]]

Acknowledgments

 1. I met with my homework partner, Simon Wroblewski. We met in the classroom to work on the web page together.
 2. While I worked with the people noted above, this individual journal entry was completed by me and not copied from another source.
