In class presentations took up the entire work day, no direct project work done.

11/14/13

• Reread materials and methods in paper to better understand experiment
• Opened Sample and Data Relationship file from Team page on this wiki Sample and Data Relationship
• Dr. Dahlquist noticed several lines that appeared identical but upon further examination the Array Data column differed from line to line.
• Line by line comparison with the raw data files Raw Data determined that each raw data file was referred to twice in the Sample and Data Relationship, and it appeared that the experimental and control were from each raw data file were referred to separately in the Sample and Data Relationship file.
• It was also noted that the Cy3 and Cy5 information in the Sample and Data Relationship file was identical for each line; however, the raw data files included in their title what sample received either Cy3 or Cy5.

Reflection

1. What were the week’s key accomplishments?

• Successfully completing our presentation, determining the correlation between the files and samples in the experiment, and the exporting of GenMAPP data.

2. What are next week’s target accomplishments?

• Data processing and build a copy of GenMAPP Builder.

3. What team strengths were seen this week?

• Our ability to work together on our presentation both in planning and in action. We worked well as a team and everyone contributed equally to the presentation.

4. What team weaknesses were seen this week?

• All of us are very busy people, so scheduling was somewhat of a challenge. While we had enough time this week, it is possible that scheduling may come up as a problem for future meetings and work.
