  • Position Held: Student Caller
    • Raised funds for the university
    • Responsible for answering roughly 60 phone calls per day while carrying a polite and welcoming attitude
    • Maintained accurate records of constituents to ensure efficient retrieval of involvement opportunities (e.g. alumni events, fundraising opportunities, parent involvement)
    • Informed constituents about upcoming events, activities, and developments at the university
    • Relayed the importance of the annual giving program to elicit donations
    • Worked with colleagues to propose new and innovative ways of asking for alumni participation

Personal Interests/Hobbies

  • I enjoy learning as much as possible throughout my daily routine, expanding my knowledge any way I can. I like to take a class every semester unrelated to my major or minor in order to be exposed to many different areas of focus that I wouldn't be exposed to otherwise.
  • I like to focus on one hobby at a time. Over the summer I decided to pick up surfing, so that was my summer hobby. My current hobby is playing tennis.

Favorite Aspect of Biology

  • My favorite aspect of biology would probably be the ability to answer the question "why?". I have always been interested in knowing why certain things happen and why they happen the way they do, and biology provides an answer to those questions.

Favorite Aspect of Computer Science

  • My favorite aspect of computer science would probably be the application of computer science to the real world and the relevance that it entails.
